The beauty of being a resident in Edinburgh is that we get to take advantage of the Edinburgh Open Doors Days. What it is, is the city allows visitors to visit the World Heritage sites for free for a day/weekend. Some of the sites are not even open any other times. It occurs a few times a year quite randomly. In the past, we have visited the Edinburgh Castle for free (typically cost ~$24(
GBP12)/person).

Today, we managed to visit the
Wemyss House and Edinburgh World Heritage Georgian House. They are both 200 year old Georgian Houses restored to its finest for visitors to enjoy and experience the lifestyle, architecture, art, furniture and grandeur of the rich during that time. At the
Wemyss house, the old printing press was explained and we even got to try it for ourselves!

Dylan listened as the kind gentlemen patiently explained (probably his 50
th time that day) to Dylan how it was done.
Printing plate ....

Ready, set, (press down to) print....

And here it is!
